City Plan Partial Review
Infrastructure Delivery Plan Consultation
As the council updates our City Plan, it is important to ensure that we plan for the infrastructure needs arising from the anticipated level and location of development. Public infrastructure includes all kinds of services and facilities needed to support life in the city, such as utilities like waste and water, roads and public transport, and community services such as libraries, medical facilities, and community centres.
The council is therefore consulting on a draft replacement Infrastructure Delivery Plan (IDP). The plan sets out a strategic vision for infrastructure delivery in Westminster, including how infrastructure can support the council’s priorities and strategies including Zero Carbon and Equalities. It also identifies all new, replacement, and updated infrastructure required over the plan period.
The draft IDP provides important evidence which supports the City Plan. It identifies infrastructure need in proximity to site allocations, and serves as evidence for the current and future City Plans.
