Westminster New City Plan: Scoping Consultation and Call for Sites now open

We are pleased to announced that Westminster City Council has launched a scoping consultation for the new City Plan, and we’d like to hear your views.

The City Plan will guide where and how Westminster grows and changes over the next 15 years, including where new homes, jobs, services and public spaces may be needed.

We’d like to know which issues you think the new City Plan should prioritise, and how you would like to be involved as the Plan develops.

Your feedback will help shape the early direction of the City Plan. After the consultation closes, we will publish a summary of the main issues raised and explain how responses have been considered.

The scoping consultation is open for six weeks, from Friday 30 October to Friday 11 December 2026.

Alongside the New City Plan Scoping Consultation, we are also launching a Call for Sites, which will remain open for longer. If you know of a site in Westminster with potential for development or intensification that could make a positive contribution to the city and local area, please submit it using the dedicated questionnaire.
