We are committed to building a fairer, safer, and greener community, and we need your feedback to help shape our future. We are proposing a new property licensing scheme aimed at improving the management of privately rented homes and tackling issues such as antisocial behaviour and poor housing conditions. If approved, it would apply to all private rented properties (not just HMOs) in 15 wards across the borough. We believe the introduction of this new scheme will enable us to continue to improve conditions for tenants and help make sure the sector is well run and managed.
