Warwick Way Construction Updates - 28.03.2025

Warwick Way Phase 1 (between Upper Tachbrook Street and Wilton Road)

Works so far:

Deep drainage works to install connections to the sewer have been completed.   Widening on both sides of Warwick Way has been progressed with works at the west end completed.  The east end is due for completion on 07/04/2025.

Going forward into the next fortnight

Completion of the Phase 1 works between Upper Tachbrook Street and Denbigh Street.  Due to a delay to a materials delivery outside of our control, FM Conway have had to install some sacrificial materials in the proposed loading bays.  Where we had proposed granite setts and chamfered granite kerbs, we have had to temporarily infill with asphalt and have used standard kerbs.  Please be assured that once the intended materials arrive, these sacrificial materials will be replaced.

The planned resurfacing of the phase 1 works will now be incorporated into the overall resurfacing of Warwick Way planned for October.

The works will move into Phase 2, which is the junction with Denbigh Street, on 08/04/25.
