Westminster City Council Cultural Strategy 2026-2031

Thank you for taking part in our Cultural Strategy consultation. 

Your ideas, comments and experiences have played a key role in shaping Westminster’s Cultural Strategy 2026–31. Over the past few months, we’ve worked closely with residents, community groups, business and cultural partners to create a strategy that is accessible, inclusive and reflective of the city’s diverse cultural identity. 

Our refreshed five-year plan for culture will ensure everyone who lives in, works in or visits the city can benefit from its rich cultural life. The strategy places culture at the heart of community wellbeing, economic growth and the creation of distinctive, vibrant neighbourhoods.  

The key priorities of the strategy are to:

To deliver the strategy ambitions we will work closely with local partners and residents to enhance Westminster’s role as a vibrant, welcoming and inclusive cultural hub.
