Bayswater Road Bus Improvement Proposals

Bayswater Road between Brook Street and Marble Arch is serviced by multiple bus routes both eastbound and westbound. The proposed improvements include:

• Changing existing bus lane between Albion Street and Marble Arch to operate 24hrs. This includes the removal of parking and loading from within the existing lane.
• The introduction of a 12m timed loading bay within the existing bus lane by 12 Hyde Park Place to allow for loading demands.
• Extending the existing eastbound bus lane from Albion Street west back to Brook Street junction. This will operate 24hr and so will include permanent parking and loading restrictions.
• Introduction of westbound bus lane from Stanhope Place to Brook Street junction. This will operate 24hr and so will include permanent parking and loading restrictions.
