The Cleveland Street Cycleway is being delivered by Westminster City Council in partnership with Camden Council.

Phasing Plan
Update to Phasing
The current programme is:
• Goodge Street to Tottenham Street resurfacing: 8 July (complete)
• Phase 12: Goodge Street to Riding House Street: 9 July – 18 July (complete)
• Phase 14: Foley Street to Howland Street: 29 July – 06 August (subject to permits)
• Phase 15: Howland Street to Maple Street: 20 July – 28 July (subject to permits)
There are other planned works taking place within the local area that may affect this programme. To minimise disruption and avoid clashes with other activities, we have agreed to stand down works if required. As a result, the above dates are indicative and remain subject to change, and further updates will be provided should the programme need to be amended.
The completion of these works will mark the final installation of the cycle segregation features, associated signage and lining, bringing the Cycleway 63 scheme closer to completion.
Looking Back
Phases 12, 14 and 15
Resurfacing along the carriageway of Cleveland Street is complete between Goodge Street and Riding House Street (Phase 12), Foley Street and Howland Street (Phase 14), and between Howland Street and Maple Street (Phase 15).
The remaining works to be carried out for each phase are as follows:
Phase 12 (Goodge Street to Riding House Street)
The carriageway has been resurfaced. Installation of cycle segregation kerbs is complete as of Saturday 18 July.

The cycle segregation kerbs are installed in the Phase 12 area.
Phase 14 (Foley Street to Howland Street)
The carriageway has been partly resurfaced and will be completed at a later date subject to other planned works in the area. Cycle segregation kerbs will also be installed once resurfacing is complete.

The resurfacing completed to date in Phase 14; cycle segregation kerbs will be completed at a later date, subject to other planned works in the area.
Phase 15 (Howland Street to Maple Street)
The carriageway has been resurfaced and is awaiting the installation of cycle segregation kerbs.

The resurfacing completed in Phase 15. Cycle segregation kerbs will be installed w.c. 20 July.
Looking Forward
Phase 12 (Goodge Street to Riding House Street)
Works to install the cycle segregation are complete and the majority of fencing is removed.
Phase 14 (Foley Street to Howland Street)
No further works can be undertaken until other planned works in the area are complete. We expect to be able to complete these works (resurfacing the remainder of the carriageway and installing the cycle segregation kerbs) between 29 July and 6 August, subject to receipt of permits from Camden Council.
Phase 15 (Howland Street to Maple Street)
Given the delay caused to Phase 14 works by works for other developments taking place in the area, we plan to move to Phase 15 works in the meantime and install cycle segregation kerbs between the junctions of Howland Street / New Cavendish Street and Maple Street from Monday 20 July. These works are subject to the receipt of permits from Camden Council.
Other Information
There are two ongoing developments under construction between Riding House Street and Foley Street which have prevented us from resurfacing these areas of Cleveland Street and completing civil engineering works on the eastern footways in this area.
We will provide further information on these outstanding matters when we are able to do so via Commonplace.
