A study by DeMontford University has indicated that less than 1% of boardrooms across the UK had any Black or Minority Ethnicity (BME or Global Majority) representation. Westminster City Council wants to help address that, so all experiences are represented across the NHS, schools, police force or businesses.

To do this, we have partnered with Olmec, an award-winning social enterprise, to deliver ‘Black on Board’, a free governance training programme for Black, Brown, Asian and dual heritage citizens. If you are from any of those backgrounds, aged 16 and over and live, work or study in Westminster, we would love to hear from you!

Find out more here and how you can apply, click here: Black on Board | Westminster City Council. Applications will close on the 19th February.
