Warwick Way Town Centre Highways Scheme

Warwick Way Phase 1 (between Upper Tachbrook Street and Wilton Road)

Works so far:

Drainage:

All three deep drainage connections have now been successfully completed with the final hole back filled this week.

Footways:

Works to construct the new widened footways have been progressing steadily westwards along the north side of Warwick Way having started outside the Queens Arm's.

Going forward into the next fortnight:

Construction of the footways will continue with paving of the newly widened section on the north side being completed between the Queen's Arms and Waitrose.  Works will then swap to the south side to complete the new kerb lines in the eastern half of this section of Warwick Way.

Once the south side is completed between Tachbrook Street and Tesco, the works will switch from the east end of the closed section of Warwick Way to the west section.

You may notice that the layout of protective barriers surrounding the site will change as the works move forward but please be assured that access to businesses and residences will be maintained.

Further information:

If you have any questions while works are taking place on-site, please contact our Public Liaison Officer, Bob Burton. Bob can be reached at 07760 962103, although he may not be always on-site.
