Cycle Permeability scheme: Blomfield Road

Cycle Permeability scheme: Blomfield Road

As part of Westminster City Council's cycling strategy, it is proposed to improve cycling permeability by introducing a number of contraflow cycle routes linking otherwise disconnected cycling corridors. The connections allow cyclists to travel against the general flow of traffic at these locations, providing a more attractive, safer cycling environment.

We have concluded our initial consultation on this scheme with the findings and officer responses outlined in the "You Said, We Did" report found below. Based on feedback received we have further refined the designs and completed the TMO consultation, which ran from 20th August to 11th September 2025.

Following TMO consultation, the scheme will be implemented in early 2026.
