About the project
Maida Hill Market improvement works
We are carrying out essential repairs to Maida Hill Market Square. These changes will help transform residents’ everyday experience of this important public space. These improvements are being funded by the Greater London Authority's Good Growth Fund.
Over the past few years, we have been working with some of the local community who either visit, live or work near the Maida Hill Market Place to learn their views on the key needs for the public space.
This can be summarised as wanting:
- a welcoming, safe, accessible and vibrant community space
- created with high quality materials
- meets the needs of the communities in the local area
- feels authentic to local users
