WCC Cultural Strategy 2026-2031

We are delighted to share the council’s refreshed five-year cultural strategy, which will ensure everyone who lives in, works in or visits the city can benefit from its rich cultural life.  

Over the past few months, we’ve worked closely with residents, community groups, business and cultural partners to create a strategy that is accessible, inclusive and reflective of the city’s diverse cultural identity.

The strategy places culture at the heart of community wellbeing, economic growth and the creation of distinctive, vibrant neighbourhoods. It highlights how we will continue to collaborate with local partners and residents to enhance Westminster’s role as a vibrant, welcoming and inclusive cultural hub. Together we can build a city where creativity opens doors, connects communities, improves wellbeing and expands opportunity for all.
