Warwick Way Construction Updates - 27.02.2026

Phase 1 Churton Street (between Charlwood Place and Churton Place)

All footway works are complete along Churton Street between Charlwood Place and Churton Place.

Phase 2 (between Belgrave Road and Charlwood Place) & Phase 3 Churton Street (between Churton Place and Tachbrook Street)

Construction is on-going along Churton Street between Tachbrook Street and Belgrave Road.  During the works an existing underground carriageway void was uncovered. Further investigatory works have been completed to determine the cause and full extent of the void.  The results are currently being reviewed to determine the level of remedial works involved. Until resolved this will require the existing road closure at the junction with Belgrave Road to remain in place and cause some delay to the project construction programme.  

Phase 1-5 Warwick Way & Phase 6 Upper Tachbrook Street (between Longmoore Street and Warwick Way)

Works are complete for phases 1 to 6 along Warwick Way & Upper Tachbrook Street. However, tree pit excavation works are on-going in preparation for planting.
