New Playground

81.5% of respondents supported upgrading the playground.

79.7% of respondents said that the playground being inclusive and accessible would encourage them to visit the playground. A need for more accessible and inclusive equipment was one of the trends in the comments.

Nature Garden

84.5% of respondents supported the idea of adding a nature garden at the eastern end of the playground by adjusting the fencing layout.

YOU SAID: You would like play equipment which is suitable for a range of different ages, highlighting that there is currently a lack of exciting equipment for older children aged around 9-11.

YOU SAID: You would like different areas of the playground for different ages to help keep younger children safe, and seating where parents can easily see the whole playground.

YOU SAID: You would like the playground to be more inclusive and accessible, mentioning sensory or wheelchair friendly equipment for example. You also said the southern playground gate was difficult to use.
