North Audley Street Public Realm Improvements
These proposals build on successful elements of outdoor dining and increased greening that were introduced to North Audley Street in 2021 on a temporary basis. We would like to hear your views on the proposals before a decision is taken on implementing a permanent scheme.

About the project
The measures will make permanent the temporary measures that were introduced in 2021, to provide facilities that help local businesses remain and grow. These proposals will make the area more attractive to daytime visitors and make it a place people wish to visit, while respecting surrounding communities. The measures will help improve accessibility and inclusivity by improving the temporary surfaces that were installed to create additional footway space. There is a focus on greening and biodiversity within the scheme, with improved planting and trees.
