October Update: Lake Howard Sewer Improvement Project

The construction phase of the Lake Howard Sewer Improvement Project began on schedule in late September 2023. There are currently two sewer improvement projects happening as part of this project.

Cathcart Construction is well underway with the Gravity Sewer Replacement portion of this project on the West side of Lake Howard. As part of this construction Ave D. S.W. at Lake Howard Dr S. will be closed as the gravity sanitary sewer lines are being replaced. Residents directly impacted by the road closures have been notifed. If you travel this side of town please keep an eye on the detour signs!

Cathcart Construction has started to prepare the project site on the East side of Lake Howard inorder to begin the replace of the AC Force Main in the area. At this time you may be seeing flags and or markings on or near your property line. These flags and markings are part of locating the underground utilities in the area that the contractor will need to avoid once the project begins. Residents will be informed as to what type of work will occur at property lines and what the plans are to restore the project site after the project is complete.

10/26/2023 Update: Beginning on October 30th, 2023 a section of Lake Howard Dr. will be closed at Ave D S.W. to Ave B S.W.
Below you will see a map explaining the road closure. Please follow the posted detour signs. All businesses in the area will be open for business.
