Upcoming Central Avenue Road Closure: Dates To Be Announced

SouthState Bank Downtown Office Building (Six/Ten, LLC; Whitehead Construction)
A temporary closure of West Central Avenue between 2nd Street and 3rd Street will be necessary to complete required utility infrastructure work associated with the development.
The closure is expected to last approximately three weeks to allow for installation and required testing of the new waterline.
Based on the current traffic control plan, sidewalks and access to the nearby nail salon parking lot will remain open during this work.
The closure dates are not yet confirmed. The City and contractor are coordinating schedules to minimize impacts on nearby businesses, downtown events, and public access.
