Project Overview
The Town of Yorktown will complete resurfacing improvements along S Nebo Road, beginning at the State Road 32 intersection and extending south to W Cornbread Road.
S Nebo Road serves as an important connection for local residents and surrounding rural areas. Resurfacing this corridor will improve travel conditions while protecting the roadway from long-term deterioration.
Project Limits
Start: State Road 32 intersection (State Right of Way)
End: W Cornbread Road
Construction will begin at the State Right of Way (SROW) along State Road 32 and extend south along S Nebo Road.
Funding
The S Nebo Road project is included in Yorktown’s 2026 road improvement program, totaling $690,419.68.
Half of the project cost is funded through the INDOT Community Crossings Matching Grant Program, allowing the Town to significantly expand roadway improvements through a state and local partnership.
Yorktown remains committed to pursuing these competitive infrastructure grants each year.
