Animal Services and Adoption Center Temporarily Relocating

The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury’s Animal Services and Adoption Center will temporarily relocate while construction of its new facility is underway. Beginning Jan. 15, the department will operate out of the OJJS Training and Educational Center (TEC Building) at 3615 E. Prien Lake Road, Lake Charles. Signage will be placed at both locations to assist the public.

Animal Services Manager Claire Terracina said, "On behalf of our team, I want to thank the public for their patience and cooperation while we work from our temporary location. We are looking forward to serving the residents of Calcasieu Parish from our new facility."
