January 2026 Construction Update

Work Packages 2 and 3 are in construction with anticipated completion Q4 2026.

Streets with active construction:

Utilities:

• Alice (Panhandle / Crescent) – Continue water main and lateral.
• Parkway (Denton / Carroll) – Continue water main and laterals followed by chlorination testing.
• Ponder – Install multiple inlets.

Earthwork/Flatwork:

• Amarillo (Haynes / Congress E) – Continue lead walks followed by striping, signage, and traffic control removal.
• Cordell (Fulton / Coit) - Continue curb, gutter, and driveways followed by backfilling, sod and asphalt.
• Denton St. (Hickory / Congress E) – ATMOS re-design.
• Egan (East - Anna / Bolivar) - Begin curb, gutter, sidewalks, and driveways.
• Mounts (Haynes / Congress E) – Continue curb, gutter, sidewalks, and driveways followed by backfilling and sod.
• Ponder (Scripture / Grace Temple) – Continue concrete removals followed by curb, gutter, sidewalks, and driveways.
• Ponder (Panhandle / Egan) – Begin installing reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) followed by asphalt.
• Prairie (Welch / Bernard) – Continue driveways followed by curb, gutter, and sidewalks.
• Scripture (Jagoe / Ponder) – ATMOS re-design.
• Sunset (Carroll / Bolivar) - Install traffic control followed by the removal of asphalt and concrete.
• Welch / Sycamore Intersection – Being striping and signage followed by the removal of traffic control.
