January 2026 Construction Update - 2

Work Packages 2 and 3 are in construction with anticipated completion Q4 2026.

Streets with active construction:

Utilities:

• Alice (Panhandle / Crescent) – Continue pressure testing and chlorination followed by tie-ins.
• Parkway (Denton / Carroll) – Continue water main and laterals followed by chlorination testing.
• Ponder / Scripture – Continue installing multiple inlets.
• Bernard North (Chestnut / Hickory) – 48-hours notices to be issued and traffic control to be installed.

Earthwork/Flatwork:

• Amarillo (Haynes / Congress E) – Sod completed and traffic control has been removed.
• Ave A / Collins – Pending completion of decorative concrete.
• Cordell (Fulton / Coit) – Sod completed and traffic control has been removed
• Denton St. (Hickory / Congress E) – ATMOS re-design.
• Egan (East - Anna / Bolivar) – Sod and backfill completed followed by final lift of asphalt, striping, signage, and removal or traffic control.
• Emery and Fulton – 48-hour notices issued with curb and gutter to begin.
• Mounts (Haynes / Congress E) – Sod completed and traffic control has been removed.
• Normal (Scripture / Oak) – 48-hour notices issued and curb, gutter, sidewalks, and driveways to begin.
• Panhandle (Fulton / Denton) – Rough grading followed by stabilization of subgrade and fine grading.
• Ponder (Panhandle / Egan) – Begin installing reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) followed by asphalt.
• Ponder (Egan / Scripture) – Completed flow fill at RCP and will begin installing inlets and driveways.
• Ponder (Scripture / Grace Temple) – Continue curb, gutter, sidewalks, driveways, and inlets.
• Ponder (Grace Temple / Oak) – Pending remix followed by grading, asphalt, and inlets.
• Prairie (Welch / Bernard) – Continue curb, gutter, sidewalks, and backfilling followed by sod.
• Scripture (Jagoe / Ponder) – ATMOS re-design.
• Sunset (Carroll / Bolivar) – Rough grading followed by stabilization of subgrade and fine grading.
• Welch – Pending completion of decorative concrete.
