October 2025 Construction Update

Work Packages 2 and 3 are in construction with anticipated completion Q4 2026.

Streets with active construction:

Utilities:

• Normal (W. Oak / Scripture) – Continue water main and lateral.
• Ponder (W. Oak / Panhandle) – Chlorination testing.
• Alice (Panhandle / Crescent) – Backfill bore operation followed by installation of sewer line.

Electrical:

• Aileen (Panhandle / Cordell) – Light conduit and boxes continued.
• Carlton (Aileen / Gober) – Light conduit and boxes to begin.

Earthwork/Flatwork:

• Amarillo (Haynes / Congress E) – Demo saw cutting followed by asphalt and concrete removals.
• Avenue G (Prairie / Louise) – Pending asphalt infill.
• Carlton (Aileen / Gober) – Backfill, sod, striping, and signage.
• Congress E (Denton / Carroll) – Striping and signage.
• Cordell (Crescent / Fulton) – Continuing curb, gutter, and driveways.
• Cordell (Fulton / Alice) – Fine grading follow by 1st lift of asphalt and flatwork activities.
• Denton St. (Hickory / Congress E) – Curb, gutter, driveways, and miscellaneous concrete work.
• Egan (West) – First lift of asphalt followed by curb, gutter, and driveways.
• Mounts (Haynes / Congress E) – Curb, gutter, driveways, and miscellaneous concrete work.
• Ponder (Scripture / Grace Temple) – Continuing concrete removals followed by rough grading and lime mixing.
• Scripture (Jagoe / Ponder) – ATMOS re-design.
• Sunset North (University / Carroll) – Concrete driveways and miscellaneous concrete work.
• Union Circle - open to traffic.
• Welch (Highland / Prairie) – Curb, gutter, driveways, and miscellaneous concrete work.
• Welch (Chestnut Intersections) – Striping
• Welch (Mulberry / Hickory) – Asphalt and concrete removals to being followed by rough grading.
