September 2025 Construction Update

Work Packages 2 and 3 are in construction with anticipated completion Q4 2026.

Streets with active construction:

Utilities:

• Amarillo (Haynes / Congress E) – Continue waterlines and laterals.
• Egan (Carroll / Bolivar) – Pressure test and chlorination with tie-ins to follow.
• Normal (W. Oak / Scripture) – Installing 18" RCP and Junction Boxes followed by water line.
• Ponder (W. Oak / Panhandle) – Continue waterlines and laterals.
• Alice (Panhandle / Crescent) - Boring operations to being.

Electrical:

• Aileen (Panhandle / Cordell) - Light conduit and boxes to begin.
• Union Circle North - Installing conduit boxes.

Earthwork/Flatwork:

• Aileen (Panhandle / Cordell) – Pending striping and signage.
• Avenue G (Prairie / Louise) – Completed asphalt with TCP pick-up on 9/5.
• Carlton (Aileen / Gober) – Asphalt completed and continuing placement of curb and gutter.
• Congress E (Ponder / Denton) – Continuing curb, gutter, and driveways.
• Congress E (Denton / Carroll) – 1st lift of asphalt scheduled with curb and gutter to follow.
• Congress W (Malone / Bryan) – Asphalt completed with striping, signage, and TCP pick-up to follow.
• Cordell (Fulton / Crescent) – 1st lift of asphalt completed.
• Crescent (Carroll / Bolivar) – Continuing concrete driveway and miscellaneous concrete work.
• Denton St. (Hickory / Congress E) – Rough grading completed with cem-line scheduled.
• Mounts (Haynes / Congress E) – Demo completed and mixing schedule with mellow and remixing to follow.
• Mulberry (Welch / Bernard N) – Backfill completed and pending sod.
• Scripture (Jagoe / Ponder) – ATMOS re-design.
• Sunset South (University / Carroll) – Traffic switch completed with removals and earthwork started.
• Union Circle North - Continuing concrete work with backfiling to follow.
• Welch (Sycamore / Mulberry) – Throats and tops to be completed with backfill to follow.
