Let's introduce you to the team

Grosvenor
Grosvenor

Grosvenor's heartland is in London’s West End, where we support nearly 1,000 businesses and thousands of residents, workers and visitors each day.

We’re focused on helping to make and manage great places where communities, business and nature thrive. We have an important role to play in ensuring places like Mayfair and Belgravia work for the various communities that live or work here.

We are partnering with Commonplace to deepen our understanding of community wellbeing and how satisfied communities are with the way we engage with them.

Wellbeing research

September 2021 - June 2022
Our social impact strategy, ‘People Positive’, was informed by a comprehensive research programme with Simetrica-Jacobs, the London School of Economics and Social Life. We measured 20+ wellbeing drivers taken from the Office for National Statistics national wellbeing programme. This approach means we can assess community wellbeing in a consistent and robust way, and ultimately see how Belgravia (and Mayfair) score in relation to comparable places, the local authority, region and nationally. The research included a survey of 600+ people, living, working or visiting Belgravia, as well analysis of secondary data relating to wellbeing drivers such as air quality. We also ran community workshops with a mix of local stakeholders, businesses and residents to provide additional perspectives to compare against survey data.

Further research on wellbeing priorities

August 2023 - September 2023
Last August, we asked people to share additional feedback on the wellbeing priorities identified through research during 2021-2022. These comments, combined with the 2021-2022 research, helped shape interventions to respond to priority areas.

Repeat of wellbeing research

March 2024 - April 2024
We’re now working with Social Life to repeat the research to see where improvements have been made and where we need to focus our efforts. To take part, please complete the survey and register to join a workshop at https://bit.ly/BelgraviaWorkshop.
