Skate Park Maintenance Project
Skate park maintenance continues, and contractors are ahead of schedule. Work is moving into the next phase earlier than expected, meaning the skate park will not partially reopen on Monday, May 4, as originally planned.
To support skaters during this transition, we are installing a temporary modular skate park at the east end of the Recreation Centre parking lot. The modular skate park is expected to be open for use on Tuesday, May 5.
Ongoing maintenance at the skate park will continue for approximately six weeks, weather permitting. Further updates on the partial reopening of the skate park will be shared as work progresses.
