Fall 2025 Project Updates

The City is ready to begin accepting bids for construction of the New Lake Stevens Historical Museum, an 8,643 SF, three-story facility, located at 12404 Mill Spur Road. The project includes wood and steel framing, 1-hour rated structural elements, and is targeting LEED Silver certification. Bidder-designed systems include fire suppression, solar generation, and steel stairs.

Plans and specs are available at www.mjnealassociatesplanroom.com or by deposit of $300 for printed copies. All work is subject to Washington State prevailing wage rates. A 5% bid deposit and subcontractor listing (per RCW 39.30.060) are required.

Sealed bids are due by 2:00 PM (PST) on November 13, 2025. Instructions for bid submittal are found within the bid package.
