Main Street Construction is Underway!

As many have probably noticed, construction along Main Street has begun. The City's contractor SCI Infrastructure, LLC is currently working on the southern portion of the project limits.

The areas of focus currently are:

• Storm drainage installation on 16th St NE in front of the Boys and Girls Club
• Building the rock retaining wall that will support the new sidewalk
• Joint Utility Trench work to allow all power and communication lines to go underground.

The contractor strives to keep traffic flowing as smooth as possible, utilizing single lane closures and lane shifts as opposed to full road closures. We are excited as this project continues to work towards completion which is slated for late June/early July of 2025
