Harnessing the collaborative powers of Lake Stevens and Marysville, we are poised to initiate an ambitious endeavor to expand your outdoor enjoyment with the Bayview Trail - Phase 1.
This next phase of the trail connector project sets off with the shared vision of enhancing healthy outdoor activities and promoting connectivity among communities. The inception of this task marks a significant milestone in infrastructure development within the regions, as it will add 4.7 miles of paved multi-use path aligning with Marysville's 64th St NE existing Bayview Trail head.
Phase 0 of this project was completed, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in January 2025. Now the city will plan the next section of the trail from 8th Street NE to Hwy 204 in the City Center Subarea. The city of Lake Stevens is partnered with the City of Marysville to create a connection for non-motorized recreation that spans both communities.
This project underscores the city’s commitment to fostering cohesive communities, anchored by spaces that are not just vibrant but also environmentally sustainable. The project will knit our cities closer, fostering social interaction and community wellness. The public insights and active participation have been key in ensuring that this initiative meets community aspirations and enriches the user experience for all.
