Reconnect West Laramie - Plan Adopted!

We’re thrilled to announce that the Reconnect West Laramie Plan has been officially adopted by City Council! This is a major milestone shaped by community voices, field research, and careful technical analysis. The final plan brings together everything we learned over the past year to create a clear, actionable vision for improving safety, mobility, and quality of life in western Laramie.

This adopted plan highlights practical strategies for safer crossings, better bike and pedestrian connections, strengthened neighborhood links, and long-term reinvestment in key corridors. It’s built on real data and lived experience, and it reflects what residents, businesses, and partners told us matters most. With this plan in place, the City of Laramie now has a shared roadmap that turns local priorities into a set of implementable steps—something worth celebrating.

What Plan Adoption Means:
Adopting the plan is an important and exciting milestone, but it does not mean every improvement will happen all at once. Instead, adoption:
