Elland Road Neighbourhood
Leeds City Council's proposals for Elland Road represent a once-in-a-generation opportunity to create a new mixed-use neighbourhood, delivering:
- 1,500 to 2,000 new homes, with a residential population of 3,300 people (approximate figures).
- New major leisure and workspace opportunities.
- Major economic impact and job creation.
- Re-modelled transport access, including potential of trams (subject to route decision), improved active travel links, and one or more multi storey car parks should demand be demonstrated.
The council's proposals refresh the existing Elland Road Planning Guidance originally produced in 2007.
