CDBG Con Plan Public Meetings Announced

The Town of Normal and City of Bloomington are seeking resident input for the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan.

**The Town of Normal, City of Bloomington and McLean County Regional Planning Commission announced a series of public meetings in June and July. **

The meetings will gather input on the 2025-2029 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Consolidated Plan and are part of the community outreach and engagement strategy.

Outreach also includes a resident survey (available at mcplan.org in English, French or Spanish) and stakeholder focus groups. Feedback from these engagement opportunities will assist the municipalities in establishing the priority areas of focus for the five-year Consolidated Plan.

What to expect
Facilitators will provide an overview of the CDBG program and historical information on funding and priorities. An interactive exercise will allow participants to allocate CDBG funds.

How to participate
Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting for their respective municipalities to learn about local initiatives and share feedback. A virtual meeting is available for those who cannot attend in person.
