Let’s Talk Food and Let’s Talk Rubbish!

Let’s Talk Food took place in Spring 2024. Over 2000 of you told us your experiences of accessing healthy food and what food you waste. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.

You can find a brief summary of what you told us on our Commonplace results tile page, and you can read the full report on the Let's Talk page on the North Yorkshire Council website.

The results will be used to help shape a food action plan supporting accessible, sustainable and nutritious food across the county.

Closely linked to the topic of food waste, our Let’s Talk Rubbish survey is also live. You can complete it on our Commonplace survey page until 16 September - please fill it in and tell us what you think about your household rubbish and recycling collections to help us improve the service going forward. The survey is quick and easy to complete.
