📢 Help Shape Scarborough's Future
Could you help influence £20 million of investment in Scarborough over the next decade?
The Scarborough Neighbourhood Board is looking for new members to help guide the delivery of Pride in Place, a long-term programme that will invest in projects and initiatives designed to improve the town and support local communities.
Working alongside representatives from business, education, voluntary organisations and public services, Board members help shape decisions on projects covering everything from regeneration and heritage to health, skills, community safety and transport.
🌟 Young people encouraged to apply
We're particularly keen to hear from people aged 18 to 30 who are passionate about Scarborough and want to help ensure young people's voices are represented in shaping the town's future.
🧩 Who are we looking for?
We're keen to broaden the skills and experience already represented on the Board. Applications are especially welcomed from people with backgrounds in:
- Project management and programme delivery
- Community safety and security
- Business and entrepreneurship
- Regeneration, construction or infrastructure
- Finance, governance and risk management
- Community leadership and engagement
Don't worry if your experience doesn't fit neatly into one of these areas. If you're passionate about Scarborough and think you can make a positive contribution, we'd love to hear from you.

To request an application form, email:
Regeneration.North-East@northyorks.gov.uk
