Module 1A Feedback Opportunity

Plano’s Zoning and Subdivision ordinances are being combined and updated into a single Unified Development Code. This rewrite aims to align the code with our current Comprehensive Plan, simplify regulations, streamline the review process and provide clearer guidance for redevelopment.

These ordinances are being developed in four phases. The first part of module 1, which focuses on zoning districts and nonresidential land uses, is now available for public review and feedback. Your comments will be shared with the Rewrite Advisory Committee, Planning & Zoning Commission and City Council to help refine the Code before public hearings in 2026.
