March 21st ,2022 City Council Meeting Approves CIP funding reuqest!

City Council met this week, March 21, 2022 to review the city CIP funding requests. The Skate Park Expansion request was for $235,000, to add to the existing $103, 470 in private donations, and $70,000 in previous CIP funding allocations. This approved request brings full project funding to $408,470. This will cover outreach, design and construction for expanding our community skatepark. http://www.portlandmaine.gov/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=6331

Our next step is to send out a Request for Proposals for design build firms to be considered in moving both outreach, design and construction forward for the project.
