Progress continues on Ocean Ave, with the Portland Water District (PWD) water work nearly complete. Construction will focus on remaining storm drainage work throughout September before the street can reopen.

September Construction Schedule

• September 7–11

  Storm Drain: Crew will work on the storm drain in front of Sammy’s Scoops. Set DMH25 on Tuesday (9/8) and hammer ledge for basins on Friday (9/11).

  Water Lines: Fill and flush water on Tuesday (9/8); perform pressure testing on Thursday (9/10).

• September 14–18

  Water Lines: Chlorinate system on Monday (9/14).

  Storm Drain: Finish two additional storm basins (9/14–9/15).

  Road Prep: Fine grading and pavement preparation for the remainder of the week.

• September 21–25

  Water Lines: Remove temporary water lines.

  Road Prep: Complete fine grading and road prep.

  Paving: Pave Ocean Ave.
