Wasena Bridge Construction Update

There's been a lot of progress made on the Wasena Bridge Replacement Project since our last update! Here's what you need to know:

• Y-Pier 4 is complete, and foundation work at Pier 5 is finished. The concrete pour for Pier 5’s Y-frame is scheduled for mid-November. Pier 5 is the final Pier for this project!

• On the Old Southwest side of the project at Abutment B, excavation and foundation work are underway. Abutment B will support the roadway connection on that side of the bridge.

• Deck pans are beginning to be placed on the existing tub girders, and utility lines for water and telecom are now installed below the tub girders.

• Looking ahead, the next set of tub girders, spanning from Pier 3 to Pier 4, are expected to be delivered next week.
