Construction Progress in April

Week of April 7
• Roach construction will be continuing their work on installing a pedestrian sidewalk ramp at the end of Walnut St. that will connect to the rail trail to allow easy on and off access for pedestrians for the rail trail and the public roads.
• At some point after the sidewalk ramp has come to a stop, workers will be working on creating a viewing pad and turn around just West of the rotary at Main Street and Crystal Street.
• The next step is of the project is to start laying out the trail path behind the RMV in-between Central Street and Hook Street.

Weeks of April 14 and April 21
• Touch up for laying out the sidewalk ramp at the of Walnut St.
• Clearing and layout for the trail between Hook St. and Crane St.
• Layout of the new parking lot design and curbing at Crane St.

Weeks of April 28 and May 5
• Crane street parking lot grading and layout
• Removal of some rail and ties and removal of topsoil near DMV section for new trail.
