Calder Way Project Phase 2A Update (April 16)

Dear property owners, business managers, and other stakeholders:

The Borough of State College is writing to provide you with the latest updates regarding Phase 2A of the Calder Way Improvement Project.

This past week the contractor, Glenn O. Hawbaker began the installation of electric vaults and conduit. This work will continue this week and into next week. The contractor will also continue the installation of sanitary sewer lines and a manhole around the ōliv Hetzel building. With the installation there will be sidewalk restrictions in the area. There will be access to the parking garage beneath ōLiv Hetzel during this time.

The Borough wants to emphasize that primary communications will be sent via email through the Calder Way Communications list. Weekly updates will be provided on Thursday afternoons, and there will be times you will receive more than one update per week as conditions change.

Please remember that projects of this nature are fluid and often change, and they can be impacted by inclement weather. You will be updated in a timely manner about these changes as they are received.
