Calder Way Project Phase 2A Update (July 30)

Dear property owners, business managers, and other stakeholders:

The Borough of State College is writing to provide you with the latest updates regarding Phase 2A of the Calder Way Improvement Project.

On Friday, July 31, Glenn O. Hawbaker will start pouring concrete for curb and sidewalk restoration. Restoration work will continue through next week. As this work progresses, additional sidewalk closures will be in place around the work area.

This past week, Columbia Gas reinstalled gas lines at the intersection of Calder Way and Hetzel Street. Hawbaker also installed the remaining storm structures.

Please remember that projects of this nature are fluid and often change, and they can be impacted by inclement weather. You will be updated in a timely manner about these changes as they are received.
