Calder Way Project Phase 2 Update (July 30)

Dear property owners, business managers, and other stakeholders:

The Borough of State College is writing to provide you with the latest updates regarding Phase 2 of the Calder Way Improvement Project.

This week, the contractor for Phase 2 began demolishing the wall and entryway in front of the GN Associates Building, located on Calder Way near South Burrowes Street.

On Monday, August 3, Ameron Construction Co., Inc. will begin restoring the wall and entryway, as well as the sidewalks around the building. This work will continue through next week. Calder Way, from Miller Alley to South Burrowes Street, will be closed to vehicular traffic. At this time, access to the parking lot behind Little Szechuan will remain available during the restoration work. Pedestrian traffic will still be able to access Calder Way during this time.

Please remember that projects of this nature are fluid and often change, and they can be impacted by inclement weather. You will be updated in a timely manner about these changes as they are received.
