Calder Way Project Phase 2A Update (June 25)

Dear property owners, business managers, and other stakeholders:

The Borough of State College is writing to provide you with the latest updates regarding Phase 2A of the Calder Way Improvement Project.

This week, the contractor made several water connections along Hetzel Street. Columbia Gas is also on-site re-routing gas lines so that Glenn O. Hawbaker can continue the installation of stormwater piping.

Beginning next week, the stormwater pipe installation will require adjustments to the site fencing and additional sidewalk closures. Access to The Legacy and Playa Bowls will remain open with the additional closures.

Please remember that projects of this nature are fluid and often change, and they can be impacted by inclement weather. You will be updated in a timely manner about these changes as they are received.

The Borough wants to emphasize that primary communications will be sent via email through the Calder Way Communications list. Weekly updates will be provided on Thursday afternoons, and there will be times you will receive more than one update per week as conditions change.
