Dear property owners, business managers, and other stakeholders:
The Borough of State College is writing to provide you with the latest updates regarding Phase 2A of the Calder Way Improvement Project.
This week, the contractor started asphalt restoration throughout the project area. This work is tentatively scheduled to be completed this week, weather permitting. Crews could potentially be on-site Saturday and Sunday to complete any leftover paving work and line striping.
The morning of Monday, August 17, the fencing and signage will be taken down, and all sidewalks and the roadway will be open to vehicles and pedestrians.
The project will be substantially complete after the paving is finished. However, there is still a punch list of items to be completed that will cause minimal restrictions following student move-in.
Please remember that projects of this nature are fluid and often change, and they can be impacted by inclement weather. You will be updated in a timely manner about any changes as they are received.
