Maybury Local Street Improvements Early Engagement Report is now published

Thank you to everyone who has subscribed to our newsletter and participated in our early engagement activities!  We are pleased to share with you our newly published Early Engagement Report, which outlines the key findings from our interactive map survey and engagement milestones in the Early Engagement Period (February - March 2024).

Key statistics in the report:

• A total of 1,151 tracked visitors to the Commonplace website during the engagement period.
• 136 comments were received on the survey, of which the majority were local residents.
• Transport issues raised the most were high traffic speeds and problems associated with parking.
• Solutions suggested the most for improvements were traffic calming measures, reducing speed limits and more parking enforcement.

All the feedback and findings from the early engagement will now feed in to the feasibility designs. The public and key stakeholders will have another opportunity to feedback on these designs in due course.
