Hello Sulphur Springs neighbors!

We have been making progress on new projects and programs for the Sulphur Springs neighborhood. As part of these next steps, we want to hear from you about your experience with the regularly scheduled SWEEP of the Sulphur Springs neighborhood. Didn't hear about or participate in the SWEEP? Your thoughts are also welcome on our survey, open now through June 30th!

At tomorrow's City Council, Mobility staff have submitted their findings on the sidewalk and safety gaps for routes to school in the neighborhood. You can review that report below and email CityCouncilStaff@tampagov.net to express your support and thoughts on City action on improving safety conditions for neighborhood kids.

The Sulphur Springs Action League is hosting a Candidate Meet and Greet for candidates running in the 2026 election. The event is taking place on June 25th at George Bartholomew Center (8608 N 12th St. Tampa, FL 33604) from 6pm to 8pm.

Council Motion: Mobility staff to present a written report on creating safe routes to the school by filling sidewalk gaps, and to include a map of the current gaps, a projected timeline for completion, and the estimated budget need.
