Announcements and Project Updates
FINAL Sulphur Springs Neighborhood Action Plan.
Thank you so, so much to all the residents, business owners, and technical professionals who helped bring this plan to life. The plan was created to identify neighborhood priorities, guide future City work, and support coordination with residents, businesses, and community partners. As the work moves into implementation, this page will continue to share plan documents, project updates, upcoming opportunities, and ways to stay involved.
This Plan serves as a roadmap and reference for future work in the neighborhood to help guide coordination, support funding opportunities, and connect City efforts with community needs and ideas. This next phase will begin by supporting resident working groups, neighborhood care and cleanup efforts, and additional small business outreach in Sulphur Springs. These efforts are just getting started, and residents, businesses, and community partners are invited to help shape what comes next.

Sulphur Springs Stewards
Sulphur Springs Stewards is a resident-led effort to help neighbors stay connected, access resources, and take action around shared neighborhood priorities.
The Stewards effort will begin with resident working groups organized around topics such as food access, safe routes, neighborhood care, local businesses, environmental care, and community storytelling.
These topics may continue to grow or change as more residents and partners get involved.

Neighborhood Care and Cleanups
Neighborhood care efforts will focus on supporting cleaner, safer, and more connected shared spaces in Sulphur Springs.
This may include community cleanups, beautification activities, and helping residents stay informed about City services, neighborhood opportunities, and ways to report concerns.

Small Business Support
Small business outreach is also beginning in Sulphur Springs.
Businesses may be connected to available resources such as no-cost business consulting, technical assistance, grant opportunities, and lending support. Learn more about grants offered by the City here and request private, no-cost consulting assistance with the Small Business Development Center here. As part of the Plan implementation, SBDC is holding office hours at the Sulphur Springs Resource Center (8412 N 12th St) Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 8am to 5pm.
