Sulphur Springs Neighborhood Meeting

The City of Tampa will be hosting a community meeting on June 21st to gather feedback for the Sulphur Spring Neighborhood Plan and Neighborhood Traffic Calming Project

The City of Tampa (City) will hold a public meeting to discuss both the Sulphur Springs Neighborhood Traffic Calming Project and the Sulphur Springs Neighborhood Plan.

The Sulphur Springs Neighborhood Traffic Calming Project will implement traffic safety and neighborhood traffic calming improvements throughout the neighborhood. The project team will provide an overview of the project and provide workshop participants with an opportunity to share their top safety priorities, and any existing issues or challenges that the project could address. For more information on the project please visit the City’s project website at:

The Sulphur Springs Neighborhood Plan will work with the community to develop a plan that establishes a long-term vision for Sulphur Springs. We’re aiming to identify community-wide priorities and establish tangible actions to address those priorities. The plan will help guide investment and policy in the neighborhood going forward.

We want to hear from residents:

  • What transportation safety improvements are needed in your neighborhood?
  • What do you love about your neighborhood, and what challenges need to be addressed?
  • What should a long-term vision for Sulphur Springs include?

Details for this in-person Public Meeting are below:

  • Date: Wednesday June 21, 2023
  • Time: 5:30-7:30 PM
  • Location: George Bartholomew Center, 8608 N 12th St, Tampa, FL 33604
