Fire Station #24 Construction

The City of Tampa is constructing Fire Station No. 24 to modernize existing facilities and support the continued operations of Tampa Fire Rescue (TFR) in North Tampa.

TFR is working with Architects Design Group (Architect), HAA (Local Architect), Kokolakis (Contractor), and Colliers Project Leaders (owner’s representative) to design and build the approximately 17,000-square-foot facility on a City-owned 3.05-acre site located at 4902 East Whiteway Drive. The project site is south of the Greco Softball Complex and adjacent to Greco Park.

Once completed, Fire Rescue Station No. 24 will enhance a full range of calls for service, including fire suppression and Advanced Life Support (ALS) medical response. The project also includes stormwater management improvements.

The total budget estimate is $24 million. The project is currently in the design phase, with construction anticipated to follow and completion targeted for Fall 2027.
