ADUs in Sulphur Springs
Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) may be coming to a backyard near you.
On February 22, 2024, City experts joined Sulphur Springs residents at the Spring Hill Community Center for a neighobrhood meeting hosted by the Sulphur Springs Action League.
The City's Planning Department explained the zoning codes and regulations associated with Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs).
Sometimes known a "in-law suites", ADUs are fully independent living quarters that are placed in the backyard of an existing home.
During the meeting, residents discussed quality of life concerns and received an update on the Sulphur Springs Master Plan.
