Place Strategies Engagement: 4 Aug - 17 Sept 2025

Lets talk about your high street engagement hub

What are the Place Strategies

We are developing Place Strategies for two clusters of high streets in Paddington - Bayswater.

The Place Strategy sets out a long-term vision and series of objectives for the high street, alongside spatial opportunities to guide future proposals by the Council, landowners, community groups and other local stakeholders.

Have your say!

Based on what we heard in 2023, we have drafted a strategy for each high street cluster. We want to hear what matters most to you and what's missing. Your feedback will help shape the final strategy documents, which will be completed in Autumn/ Winter 2025 and used to guide future projects.

The engagement will run from 4 August to 17 September 2025.

You can engage by:

Ark King Solomon Academy Workshop

As part of the Young Policy Makers programme, Westminster City Council’s City Lions partnered with architects OMMX to run a creative workshop at Ark King Solomon Academy. The session invited local young people to share their thoughts on the Paddington neighbourhood and imagine ways it could be improved.

The Young Policy Makers initiative connects young Londoners with professionals and decision-makers in the built environment — a space where their voices are often overlooked or heard too late. Through hands-on workshops and a public programme, participants explore the issues that matter most to them, drawing on their lived experiences to shape ideas for change.

This is about listening — and learning — from the next generation of designers, planners, and community leaders.
